This Scholarship was established in 2019 and is maintained by an annual gift from Aquatec Maxcon.

Eligibility Criteria for the Aquatec Maxcon Scholarship at University of Queensland 2026:

Applicants must:

  • Be a domestic student
  • Be a current or future University of Queensland (UQ) student
  • Be enrolled, or intend to enroll, in Urban Water Engineering in one of the following programs:
    • Master of Engineering
    • Master of Engineering Science
    • Master of Engineering Science (Management)
    • Master of Urban Water Engineering
    • Master of Urban Water Engineering (Professional)
  • Be a postgraduate coursework student
  • Not have received this scholarship previously
  • Not hold another scholarship considered similar by the Head of School

  • Academic achievement.
  • Personal qualities, including leadership potential. 
  • Any other qualities that the selection committee considers relevant to your future success in the engineering profession.
