  - Applicants whose parental income is less than ₹6.00 lakhs are eligible.
  - Only one child per family can apply under this scheme.
  - 33% of the awards are reserved for women candidates.
  - Selection is based on merit, considering minimum marks in qualifying examinations.
  - Applicants can further pursue MBBS, PG Diploma courses (1 year / 11 and half years) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM).

The scheme of “Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi - Financial Assistance for SC students for pursuing Higher Studies in Foreign Universities” was introduced to enable the benefit of higher education in foreign universities to meritorious SC students thereby providing them an opportunity for better career prospects within the country and abroad.

Eligibility criteria for the Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarships:

Only Indian nationals are eligible.
Applicants whose parental income is less than Rs.6.00 lakhs are eligible.
One child of the family shall be eligible under this scheme.
Applicants shall avail the 33% of the awards earmarked for Women Candidates.
Applicants with a minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examinations will be selected per order of merit.
Applicants can further pursue MBBS, PG Diploma courses (1 year / 11 and half years) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM).

The students need to follow the given instructions for applying for the scholarship:

Applicants first need to visit the Official Website of the ePass Portal of AP.
The homepage will appear on your screen, where you have to scroll down to click on the Overseas Scholarship option.
Now the AP Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarship page will appear on your screen.
Here you have to click on the Registration button for scholarships according to the category.
After that, the registration page will open on your screen, enter the necessary details which will be asked under the page or upload the required documents.
As you complete all the details click on the Submit button.

Value of the Scholarship:

Successful applicants of the Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scholarships will be sanctioned an Rs.10.00 lakhs grant(5.00 Lakhs +5.00 lakhs) in two installments - The first installment of Rs.5.00 lakhs on the production of landing permit/I-94 i.e., immigration card and the second installments on the production of 1st-semester results.
