English Language Program Criteria:

Applicants must:

• Be pursuing a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or continuing professional training in TESL.
• Demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Office of Student Financial Services at Colorado State University (CSU).
• Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Submit a personal statement expressing interest in promoting international understanding.
• Provide three letters of reference to support their application.

Department of English Graduate Student Criteria:

Applicants must:

• Be pursuing a graduate degree in a Department of English program.
• Be a first-year graduate student.
• Be in good academic standing.
• Graduate scholarship recipients are eligible to receive the scholarship for consecutive years if they maintain eligibility.
