Ambedkar International Scholarship is provided by the Social Justice & Empowerment Department (Rajasthan) for students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category who want to pursue PhD studies abroad in certain specified fields.
Eligibility Criteria for the Ambedkar International Scholarship:
- Applicants must be from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, and be a domicile of Rajasthan.
- Applicants must be have completed a postgraduate degree (Master’s) from a recognized university with at least 55% marks.
- The applicant must have secured admission to a Ph.D. program in a foreign university in one of the following subjects:
- Social Science
- Public Administration
- Law
- Economics
- Political Science, or
- Anthropology
- Applicants must be below 35 years of age at the time of application.
- The total annual family income of the applicant should not exceed ₹6 lakh from all sources.
