About this Scholarship:

The Scholarship was established in 2020 and is maintained by an annual gift from Altrad Services.

Eligibility for the Valmec Women in Engineering Scholarship: 

  • The applicant is a female student.
  • The applicant is a domestic student.
  • Students should be enrolled full-time in an Approved Program in the Relevant Field.
  • Students must have completed at least 28 units, but not more than 43 units, in your program
  • Students should have achieved a GPA of at least 5.5.
  • Students do not hold a scholarship that the Associate Dean considers to be similar.

Relevant Field:

  • Mechanical Engineering

Selection Process:

  • Academic achievement
  • Personal qualities including leadership potential, community service, and engagement
  • Any other matter that the selection committee considers relevant to their future success in the engineering profession.

Application Process:

Students must submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

The students will receive AUD 5000.
