Allen and Eleanor Hollingsworth Scholarship at Georgia State University 2026

The objective of this scholarship is to award scholarships to incoming or first-year gerontology master's degree candidates.

Eligibility for the Allen and Eleanor Hollingsworth Scholarship at Georgia State University:

• Be an entering or first-year student in a Master’s degree program in Gerontology
• Have an outstanding academic record
• Demonstrate a commitment to improving the quantity and quality of life for older people through:
  • Internship experience,
  • Volunteering, or
  • Other relevant experiences deemed appropriate by the selection committee
• Show leadership potential in the field of aging, supported by a letter of recommendation from a faculty member in the Center

Application Process:

There is no need for a separate application; eligible students will be considered automatically based on their general application.
