Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Masters Scholarships 2026

The objective of the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Masters Scholarships is to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and who possess an outgoing personality enrolled to study at the University.

Eligibility for Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Masters Scholarships:

• The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Masters Scholarships are open to selected international applicants.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong commitment and academic performance.
• All the progression requirements and program-specific criteria must be met by the students.
• Students must be enrolled in a full-time postgraduate course at the University. 

Applicable courses are:

1. MSc Cities and Global Development
2. MA International Development
3. MSc in Environmental Change and International Development
4. MPH in International Development
5. MSc in International Social Change and Policy
6. MA Global and Political Economy
7. MA International Relations
8. MA in Social Research​

Value of Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Masters Scholarships:

The successful applicants of the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust Master's Scholarships will receive the following benefits:

1. A full tuition fee waiver
2. A £12,500 maintenance stipend

• Shortlisted applicants will be invited to apply. If you do not hear back by Friday, 15 May 2026, your application was not selected.
• Application form deadline: Submit by 1 pm (UK time), Monday, 1 June 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
• Final decision: All applicants will be notified by Friday, 5 July 2026.
