Overview

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be Canadian, US, and residents in the Southwest Region of the US.
  • Applicants must be interested in pursuing an education in the field of information and records management. 
  • Applicants must obtain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Documents Required

  • All eligible candidates must submit a 200-300 word essay stating how the scholarship will benefit them and their career objectives.
  • They must provide three letters of recommendation from supervisors or employers.
  • The candidates must submit their most recent school transcript.

Benefits:

  • As soon as receipts for tuition, fees, books, and other expenses up to the amount of the scholarship grant become available, the beneficiary will present them to the Executive Director of the Funds.
  • Grades for the school year in which funds were granted will be sent to the Fund's Executive Director as soon as they are available. If grades are not received 60 days after the semester ends, a 1099 will be issued and forwarded to the IRS for income tax purposes.
