Introduction:

The Alex and Norma Matheson DCD Travel Scholarship is offered by the University of Western Australia through a bequest from the late Norma Matheson in memory of her husband, Alex Matheson. The scholarship provides financial support to Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DCD) students to attend and present their research at nationally and internationally recognized conferences or similar academic events.

Eligibility requirements for the Alex and Norma Matheson DCD Travel Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

Applicants must be enrolled in the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree program.
Must have completed at least six months of full-time equivalent study.
Must be intending to present, or already be registered to present, at a conference or similar meeting relevant to their research project.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 2,000.
