Eligibility Criteria for the Alan and Mary Longstaff Women in Engineering Scholarship at RMIT University 2025:

Applicants must:

  • Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or Australian permanent humanitarian visa holder.
  • Identify as a woman.
  • Be undertaking a single Bachelor of Engineering degree and be either:
    • Commencing first year, or
    • Enrolling in second year (must not have completed/received credit for more than 96 credit points by end of Semester 2, 2022).
  • Meet one or more of the following criteria:
    • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
    • Be from a rural/regional area and relocating/moved to Melbourne to study at RMIT.
    • Demonstrate financial hardship.
  • Have not previously commenced or completed a program at the same level or higher.
  • (Preference) Be a first-year Bachelor of Engineering student.

Value of the Alan and Mary Longstaff Women in Engineering Scholarship at RMIT University 2025:

$5,000 per annum for two years.
