Eligibility Criteria for the Alan and Mary Longstaff Women in Engineering Scholarship at RMIT University 2025:
Applicants must:
- Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or Australian permanent humanitarian visa holder.
- Identify as a woman.
- Be enrolled in full-time study in Semester 1, 2023.
- Be undertaking a single Bachelor of Engineering degree and be either:
- Commencing first year, or
- Enrolling in second year (must not have completed/received credit for more than 96 credit points by end of Semester 2, 2022).
- Meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- Be from a rural/regional area and relocating/moved to Melbourne to study at RMIT.
- Demonstrate financial hardship.
- Have not previously commenced or completed a program at the same level or higher.
- (Preference) Be a first-year Bachelor of Engineering student.
Value of the Alan and Mary Longstaff Women in Engineering Scholarship at RMIT University 2025:
$5,000 per annum for two years.
