Aida-Bairam Scholarship For University Development

The objective of this scholarship is to acknowledge the academic growth of students of Arab or Syrian descent in their surroundings and provide them with financial help at Laval University so they can focus on their career goals.

Eligibility criteria for the Aida-Bairam Scholarship for University Development:

  • The applicant must be a student of Syrian or Arab descent.
  • The candidate must be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, or a landed immigrant or refugee.
  • The applicant must have completed a minimum of 12 credits at Laval University before applying for the scholarship.
  • The applicant must be enrolled full-time during the fall and winter sessions of the scholarship year.
  • The applicant must have a minimum average of 2.00 out of 4.33 in the undergraduate cycle or 2.67 out of 4.33 in the graduate cycle at Laval University.
