Introduction:
The AEU NSW Teachers Federation Branch Scholarship supports a full-time student in their final year of their education degree who has completed Year 12 (or equivalent) at a public school or TAFE (preferably within NSW). The recipient will be a Student Member of the NSW Teachers Federation. A student’s experience of disadvantage may be considered.
Eligibility requirement for AEU NSW Teachers Federation Branch Scholarship at Southern Cross University 2026:
- Be in the final year of a Bachelor of Education in any specialisation, or the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, or Master of Teaching
- Be studying full-time and should have completed Year 12 (or equivalent) at a public school or TAFE, preferably within NSW
- Be a Student Member of the NSW Teachers Federation (membership is free)
Value of the scholarship:
A AUD 2,500 award is available to support a full-time student
Application Process:
- Apply for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at Southern Cross University for the 2024 or 2025 intake.
