Adrian N. Newell Scholarship for MA by Research degree study in Classics 2022 is offered by the University of Leeds for all the Uk and International applicants of the University who has undertaken study of Latin or Ancient Greek language in the course of their undergraduate degree, and who plans to commence their MAR project in October 2022.

Eligibility for the Adrian N. Newell Scholarship for MA by Research degree study in Classics 2022 :

  • The Scholarship competition is open to current final year undergraduates and graduates in Classical Civilisation, Classical Literature and Ancient History at the University of Leeds, provided that they have undertaken study of Latin or Ancient Greek language in the course of their undergraduate degrees.
  • Open to selected applicants of all nationals including the UK of the University.
  • The minimum English language entry requirement for research postgraduate research study is an IELTS of 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each component (reading, writing, listening and speaking) or equivalent.
  • Applicants need to apply for a Masters by Research application and Adrian N. Newell Scholarship application by the deadline date of 23:59 on the 15 July 2022.
  • This scholarship is open to full-time (12 months) or part-time (24 months)candidates.
