Sister Assumption Neary Scholarship at Australian Catholic University (ACU) 2024

Eligibility:

Applications are open to those who meet all of the following criteria:

• Commencing in Semester 1, 2024
• Faculty: Health Sciences
• Course: Bachelor of Nursing (including double degrees)
• Campus: Ballarat
• Financial need or other disadvantage

Application process:

Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application: 

• A written statement of approximately 200 words outlining Why you have chosen to undertake this degree, the challenges you have overcome, or may face in undertaking your study due to financial circumstances or other disadvantages. Types of disadvantage may include, but are not limited to financial & medical.
• Provide evidence of the disadvantages as outlined in your written statement. Types of evidence may include, but are not limited to Concession or Health Care Card, The most recent 60 days of bank transactions and pay slips from the last 6 weeks, Letter from a medical professional and Statutory declaration.

Selection process:

Applications will be shortlisted by the Scholarships Office and a recipient selected by a panel comprising the donor Mission and Nursing representatives and a representative of the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine, Ballarat Campus.
