Overview

The scholarship provides the opportunity for several students to undertake a work placement in an established organization in the accounting field. Students will be able to gain experience and utilize the workplace skills developed during their accounting degree.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Open to Australian citizens, residents, or humanitarian visa holders and New Zealand citizens.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time degree in one of the following courses:
    • Bachelor of Business
    • Bachelor of Commerce
    • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Applicants must be Majoring in accounting
  • Applicants must complete the required credit points.
  • Applicants must have a Weighted Average Mark of 70 or above across all units completed in accounting and be in the penultimate year of study, with one full-time year left.

Selection criteria:

Based on academic achievement, application, video interview and performance at an interview with the host.

Benefits:

AUD 8000 per placement for a single semester. Students are eligible for up to two placements during their second and third years.
