Eligibility for the Academic Excellence International Masters Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be overseas fee payers.
  • Applicants must beentirely self-funded.
  • Applicants must have an undergraduate degree (or Masters degree) awarded by an institution based in one of the countries listed.
  • Courses offered full-time between October 2025 and January 2024 that lead to the MA, MSc, LLM, and MRes degrees are eligible.
  • The scholarship is available for the first year of taught Masters study only.
  • Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities.

Application Process:

The student will be given this award automatically if they fulfill all the requirements for eligibility. They do not need to fill out an application. The academic transcripts and certifications they send with their application for a spot at Essex will be used by the university to determine the applicant's eligibility.
