The Aboriginal Post Secondary Education and Training Bursary at Fleming College:

The Aboriginal Post Secondary Education and Training Bursary is funded by the Government of Ontario. It provides direct financial support to Aboriginal students with demonstrated financial need to help with participation in postsecondary education and training.

Eligibility requirements for the Aboriginal Post Secondary Education and Training Bursary at OCAD University:

  • The applicants must self-identify as an Aboriginal person.
  • The applicants must be and aboriginal identity may include First Nations (Status/Non-Status), Métis, or Inuit cultural and/or ancestral background.
  • The students who self-identify as having Aboriginal identity and/or heritage may also be considered.
  • The financial need must be equal to or greater than the value of the bursary.

  • The applicants must complete the bursary application through the Fleming College portal

Value of the Scholarship:

  • Upto a CAD 3,500 is awarded to support a full-time student at OCAD University.
