The A&BK Scholarship in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London provides financial assistance to undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds.
Eligibility Criteria of A&BK Scholarships in the Department of Chemical Engineering:
- The applicant must have a household income of GBP 42,000 or less confirmed by their local funding authority and possess Home fee status.
- The applicant must come from a widening participation background (qualifying for contextual admissions schemes) and hold an offer to start a full-time three- or four-year undergraduate course in the Department of Chemical Engineering for 2026/27.
Selection Criteria: The Department of Chemical Engineering will rank eligible applicants based on academic merit and potential, as demonstrated in their UCAS application.
Application Process:
- The applicant must submit a means-tested student finance application through Student Finance England (SFE) or an equivalent body, with a confirmed household income below £42,000 per annum shared with the College by the deadline of 11:59 pm (UK time), Friday 29th May 2026.
- The applicant must submit a UCAS application for a course in the Department of Chemical Engineering and hold an offer of admission by the same deadline.
Award: Cash bursary of GBP 20,000 per year, provided to support tuition fees and living expenses.
