Chhatrapati Rajarshi in Maharaj Shahu The Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra, launched the Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna, Maharashtra 2023–24, to offer financial aid to graduate and postgraduate students. The scholarship is intended to give students in Maharashtra who fall under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category financial support. Tuition and exam fees are reimbursed up to 100% for the chosen students.
Eligibility Criteria for Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna, Maharashtra 2023/24:
- Students need to be a domicile of Maharashtra.
- Students should pursue a professional or non-professional course approved by the Director of Higher Education (DHE) at a government or government-aided university/college.
- Students should have been admitted under the General or Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) category.
- Students must have an annual family income of up to INR 8,00,000.
