Eligibility for the Judy Kennedy Research Scholarship in Mental Health:
- Candidates must be enrolled in a PhD program at the University of Newcastle, to improve the outcomes and treatment provided to individuals with mental illness and their families.
- Either a full-time or part-time enrollment is required of candidates.
- Pupils should exhibit strong academic performance as well as past accomplishments.
- Candidates must be full-fee-paying foreign students who are citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
- Applicants are not permitted to hold concurrently more than one donor-funded or sponsored scholarship at the University of Newcastle.
Application Process:

- A declaration in writing outlining your goals, plans, and research progress. A written declaration may not exceed one A4 page, not counting supporting documentation.
