Eight full-fee Athena scholarships, named for the Greek goddess of knowledge, are available for the Thermal Power and Propulsion MSc at Cranfield University. To increase participation, these will be made available to gifted female engineers from underrepresented backgrounds, one or two from each continent (two each for Asia and Africa, N&C America, South America, Europe, and Oceania). The Scholarship has the endorsement of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers.
Eligibility for Cranfield University Athena Scholarship for Thermal Power and Propulsion:
Any female engineering student who has been accepted for admission to the MSc in Thermal Power and Propulsion is eligible to apply for the scholarship. Candidates may be taken into consideration for the intakes in October or March. Scholarships will be given to female candidates who meet the requirements and who would not be able to enroll in this postgraduate program without financial assistance. If they are awarded the scholarship, applicants must work with a member of the Thermal Power and Propulsion MSc team to complete a project on environmentally beneficial advancements in thermal power. The quality of the supporting statement, the CV (which includes education and experience), and the recipients' underprivileged upbringing will all be taken into consideration when choosing the winners.

Application Process:
The MSc in Thermal Power and Propulsion admission offer is a requirement for applicants. The application period will end four months before the start of the course.
