Thomson Foundation, in partnership with the UK Foreign Press Association (FPA), is granting Young Journalist Award, 2017 to young journalists to submit their best stories.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of Young Journalist Award, 2017 must be journalists who are less than 30 years old.
  • Candidates should be from countries with a gross national income per capita of less than $20,000.
  • Candidates who meet the criteria should submit a portfolio of 3 of their published works produced within a year prior to the deadline.
  • Candidates applying for Young Journalist Award, 2017 can submit the published works in any format.

    Yes, you can secure an education loan to study abroad at Thomson Foundation. Education loans are of two types- Collateral and non collateral. Collateral includes either: Immovable property – a house or a flat or land (or) liquid security – an FD, or LIC or shares or bonds. Agricultural lands are not accepted by any bank for education loan.

    Public banks like SBI, BOB offer these types of education loans. There are many NBFCs who offer Non-collateral education loans. Apply for the best education loan to study abroad.
