Established in 2019 and maintained by an annual gift from Queensland Firebirds and UQ Marketing and Communications. The Scholarship is to encourage and support new students who have demonstrated a passion for netball.
Eligibility criteria for the UQ Firebirds Scholarship 2021:
- Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
- Applicants must submit an application by the closing date for applications.
- Applicants must complete year 12 in the year prior to award.
- Applicants must intend to enrol as a commencing student in an Approved Program in the year of award.
- Applicants must demonstrate that they have played netball for school or a club, or contributed to the sport of netball through coaching or volunteering within the previous 2 year period.
Value of the UQ Firebirds Scholarship 2021:
Successful applicants will receive an award of value $5,000.
