Eligibility for University Of Waikato's Doctoral Scholarship in New Zealand, 2019:

• The scholarships from the University of Waikato Wilf Malcolm Institute of Educational Research (WMIER) Doctoral Scholarship is open to all nationalities
• The candidates applying should be demonstrating an alignment between their intended research and the Institute’s research priorities.
• The candidate should be intending to investigate curriculum, assessment, pedagogy and/or policy implementation in the early years, compulsory schooling and tertiary sectors in New Zealand.
• The applicants, who proved to be successful could undertake an investigation within or across the early childhood, school or tertiary sectors. A research design that includes a collaborative approach and
• video-based data collection in educational settings is considered, however, it is not mandatory.
• The successful candidate will be part of a broader team of scholars pursuing questions to do with the interaction of curriculum, assessment and pedagogy.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates who already completed the entry qualifications for Doctoral study are given preference for their respective course level applications.

Value of University Of Waikato's Doctoral Scholarship in New Zealand, 2019:

• Tuition fee waiver at home rate.
• Stipend of NZ $22,000.
