This prize was established to recognize the significant contribution to the community made by the late Toni Dick, a graduate of the Faculty of Law at QUT. Toni Dick studied for her LLB at Queensland Institute of Technology, a predecessor institution of QUT, between 1981 and 1985, and completed the Legal Practice Course in 1986. The prize is awarded annually to the student whom the selection panel believes has contributed most to the community through volunteer or charitable work.
Eligibility for Toni Dick Memorial Prize 2020:
You must be a woman who:
- is enrolled as postgraduate or undergraduate coursework, or research student in law or justice studies during the current academic year
- has contributed to the community through sustained volunteer or charitable work (not necessarily of a legal nature).
Value of Toni Dick Memorial Prize 2020:
- The scholarship consists of a prize of AUD 1000.
