Tilburg School of Economics and Management aims to attract the world’s brightest students to its international classrooms. Tilburg School of Economics and Management will waive the difference between the non-EEA tuition fee and the EEA tuition fee for selected students with no financial sources from non-EEA countries who are not entitled to pay the EEA tuition fee.
Eligibility:
- This scholarship is not meant for currently enrolled Tilburg University students.
- Application for the scholarship is open for prospective MSc students with strong financial needs.
- Students can come from all non-EEA countries, provided they would be charged the non-EEA tuition fee.
- The school may strive for a certain distribution over the continents.
- Applicant has to be a holder of a non-EEA passport only.
- The applicants must have an excellent academic record and must be in the top 5 percentile of their class.
- If applying for a Business Master a GMAT score of at least 670 is required – also for applicants from schools and/or programs exempt for GMAT for admission.
- If applying for a Master in Economics or Econometrics a GRE percentile above 85 for the quantitative section is required - also for applicants from schools and/or programs exempt for GRE for admission.
- Two letter of recommendation by a Dean, Professor or Academic supervisor.
- Proof of English proficiency – IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge Proficiency.

- The applicants must fill out the Scholarship Application Form.
- The applicant must upload the Scholarship Application Form in the University's online application system MYSAS, together with the application for the Master's program before the scholarship deadline of March 1st, 2018.

- The candidates should have an excellent academic record i.e. average grade of the program at the application time should be 8.0 on the scale 1-10.
- The applicants should belong to the top 5% of their class.
- The candidates applying for a Business Masters program are required to have a GMAT score of at least 675.
- The applicants for Master in Economics or Econometrics must have a GRE percentile above 85 the quantitative section.
- The candidates who are currently enrolled at the Tilburg University or those who have a dual nationality are not eligible.
- The applicants should not be in receipt of any other scholarship for the same academic year.
- The candidates applying for TISEM non-EEA Scholarship of Excellence (MSc), 2017 should submit two recommendation letters and English language proficiency proof.
- The applicants will be selected on the basis of the accuracy, consistency, and the completeness of the application.
- The candidates must upload the scholarship application together with the Master’s program application before the scholarship deadline.
- The recipients of TISEM non-EEA Scholarship of Excellence (MSc), 2017 get the difference between the non-EEA tuition fee (€ 14.500,-) and the EEA tuition fee (€ 2.006,-).
- The recipients also get a monthly allowance for living expenses.
