The Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) is a program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, and implemented by IREX, a Washington, DC-based nonprofit organisation.
Eligibility
- The applicants of Teaching Excellence And Achievement Program For Latvian Students should be citizens or non-citizen residents of Latvia.
- The candidates should full-time teachers (secondary level) and should have a classroom experience of five or more years in English as a Foreign Language or Math and Sciences, Social Studies and it also includes special education teachers in those subjects.
- The candidates should have proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Applicants of Teaching Excellence And Achievement Program For Latvian Students should continue teaching for at least five years after completion of the program.
