Faculty of Business and Law Excellence Scholarship at Queensland university of Technology 2024

The Faculty of Business and Law Excellence Scholarship is awarded to future undergraduate students with exceptional academic performance who are commencing their studies in business, law, or property economics at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). The scholarship aims to recognize and support high-achieving students in their academic pursuits.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or hold a permanent humanitarian visa.
• Candidates must be graduating from Year 12 at an Australian high school in 2023, have completed an International Baccalaureate (IB) in 2023, have finished an Australian curriculum overseas in 2023, or have completed the mentioned qualifications in 2022 and taken a gap year.
• A minimum unadjusted ATAR of 95.00 or equivalent is required.
• Students must be commencing their university studies for the first time in 2024, with a preference for QUT Business, Law, or Property Economics single or double degrees.
• Admission into and acceptance of a full-time place in one of the eligible degree programs is necessary.

Value of the Scholarship :

A scholarship valued at AUD 5,000 in the first year of study, paid as a stipend of AUD 2,500 after the HECS-HELP census date in the first and second semesters of study, subject to meeting scholarship conditions.

Additional benefits may include automatic membership of the QUT College of Excellence, an invitation to attend the College of Excellence camp, and the opportunity to represent QUT as a Student Ambassador.

Application Process:

• There is no separate application process for this scholarship. Eligible students who complete a QTAC (Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre)application with a QUT Business, Law, or Property Economics single or double degree as their first preference will automatically be considered.
• Scholarship offers will be made between January and February 2024 based on December and January QTAC offer rounds.
• Students must accept their scholarship offer during the specified rounds and defer their scholarship for six months in writing if starting study in Semester 2, 2024.

Deadlines:

The closing date for scholarship offers is dependent on QTAC key dates for application submission.

Scholarship offers will be made between January and February 2024.
