Science & SciLifeLab Prize for Young Scientists, 2017 is open to young scientists who was awarded a doctoral degree in the previous two years for excellent life science research.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants of Science & SciLifeLab Prize for Young Scientists, 2017 must have been awarded a Ph.D. degree between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2016.
- Submissions will be accepted only once with the period mentioned above.
- The research area of the applicants' thesis must belong to one of the following areas:
- Ecology and Environment:
- Cell and Molecular Biology
- Translational Medicine
- Genomics and Proteomics
- The work done by the applicants when they were graduate students will only be considered for the award.
- Candidates applying for Science & SciLifeLab Prize for Young Scientists, 2017 must not be employees of SciLifeLab, Science/AAAS, collaborators in the management or sponsorship of this Prize or their relatives.
Entry procedure:
The following documents must be submitted by the applicants along with the entry form:
- An essay consisting not more than 1000 words describing the thesis work and its connection with the selected subject track.
- A reference letter in one page from an advisor or a member of your thesis committee.
- Abstract of the thesis in not more than four double-spaced typed pages.
