About this scholarship:
The Reef Catchment Science Partnership will be providing a PhD scholarship. The projects will be selected from the below topics depending on the skills and interests of the successful applicant. The project will focus on the waterways and catchments that discharge to the Great Barrier Reef lagoon.
Potential project topics:
- Enhanced terrestrial and water quality monitoring and modeling
- Enhanced or creating new environmental risk assessments
- Water Quality Offsets
- Real-time monitoring
- Relationships between terrestrial catchment condition (e.g., ground cover) and water quality
- Remote sensing and earth observation techniques
Eligibility:
- Applicant should have completed some research experience.
- Must have completed an approved university degree.
- Candidate should meet the English language requirements.

- Please provide a half-page PhD scope of research with your application. This may not be what you end up conducting your PhD on, but it will be used to assess your suitability for the scholarship.
