The Queensland University of Technology has initiated a Ph.D Scholarship for future PhD students interested in researching issues in contemporary justice. The scholarship works on the discourse of 'Investigating Ethical Consumerism to Combat Modern Slavery'.
Eligibility criteria for the QUT PhD Scholarship on Investigating Ethical Consumerism to Combat Modern Slavery, 2021:
- Open to all international students.
- Applicants must meet the entry requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at QUT, including any English language requirements for international students.
- Applicants must have an honours or research masters degree.
- Applicants must have a strong interest in political participation and social movements.
Additional Criteria: Applicants must have a desire to study the intersections between government, civil society, corporations and the public in addressing complex global problems.ideally have undertaken previous studies at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level in:
- Political science
- Public policy
- Sociology
- Critical criminology
- Business management
- A related field
Value of the QUT PhD Scholarship on Investigating Ethical Consumerism to Combat Modern Slavery, 2021:
Successful applicants of the QUT PhD Scholarship on Investigating Ethical Consumerism to Combat Modern Slavery, 2021 will receive the following-
A scholarship, tax exempt and indexed annually of $28,597 per annum for a period of three years, with a possible six-month extension (subject to satisfactory progress).
Note: International students will also receive either:
- An Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) fees offset (International).
- A QUT research degree tuition fee scholarship.
