President's Scholarship for International Students, 2022

The President’s Scholarship is one of the most prestigious scholarships at the University of Ottawa which is awarded to one full-time undergraduate international student. 

Eligibility criteria for the President's Scholarship for International Students, 2022:

• Open to all international students.
• Applicants must hold a student visa, have a minimum admission average of 92% (or equivalent).
• Applicants must demonstrate leadership qualities and a commitment to academic and extracurricular activities. 

Note:

This scholarship cannot be combined with a Chancellor's Scholarship for International Students, with the Faculty of Arts Dean's Merit Scholarship or with the Merit Scholarship.

Value of the President's Scholarship for International Students, 2022:

Successful applicants of the President's Scholarship for International Students, 2022 will receive scholarship value of $30,000 ($7,500 per year).

Renew of the scholarship:

Applicants can renew their scholarship at 50% of the annual value if they have a CGPA between 8.00 and 8.49 at the end of the academic year. They can also renew their scholarship for the full amount in a subsequent year if their CGPA increases to 8.50 or higher.

Benefits: 

The University also provides a one-time award of $1,500 to applicants in second, third and fourth place. Applications must be submitted online.
