The University of Oslo is offering a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in modeling impacts of climate change on the natural environment, 2017 for candidates around the world.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants of Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in modeling impacts of climate change on the natural environment, 2017 must have received a doctoral degree in hydrology, meteorology or related geoscientific field with documented knowledge relevant to the qualifications.
- Candidates should possess a good process understanding of Earth System Sciences.
- Candidates should also have documented experience in assessing the impact of climate variability and change on the physical system.
- The Ph.D. candidates applying for Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in modeling impacts of climate change on the natural environment, 2017 must have strong quantitative skills, including large-scale modeling and data analysis.
- Applicants are required to show evidence of creativity and capability of independent research and must have a proven track record in peer-reviewed publications.
- Candidates must have technical expertise in computer software and programming.
- Applicants must be able to work with large data sets, combining observations and model simulations.
