The Norwegian University of Science and Technology is offering a Ph.D. position in Systems Virology and Immunology at the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine (IKOM).

Eligibility

  • The candidates applying for NTNU Ph.D. position within Systems Virology and Immunology, 2018 should have completed or complete MSc in statistics, bioinformatics or a relevant field by 31st Dec 2017.
  • The applicants must have an outstanding academic record with a B or higher grade.
  • The candidates are expected to have spoken and written proficiency in English.
  • The candidates must have a strong background in statistics and bioinformatics.
  • The applicants must have participated in national and international scientific projects, a track record of scientific publications.
  • The candidates must have collaborated with biotech companies or academic groups.

Selection Criteria

  • The applicants for NTNU Ph.D. position within Systems Virology and Immunology, 2018 will be assessed based on their communication skills and personal motivation.
  • The candidates will also be evaluated on the basis of their ability to work in a team or independently.
  • The applicants are expected to have collating and merging diverse data types' experience.
