The Nordic Africa Institute offers scholarships to master students, Ph.D., and postdoctoral candidates Africa-oriented studies/research in Social Sciences and Humanities. The scholarship program offers a 1-month stay at the Nordic Africa Institute.
Eligibility
- The candidates applying for Nordic Africa Institute Scholarships, 2017 should be pursuing their masters, Ph.D. or postdoctoral research in universities and research centers in Finland, Sweden, and Iceland in the field of Africa-oriented studies/research in Social Sciences and Humanities.
- The applicants can apply regardless of citizenship.
- The candidates who are Africa-oriented journalists and writers in Social Sciences and Humanities in Finland, Sweden, and Iceland are also eligible.
Documents required
- The applicants for Nordic Africa Institute Scholarships, 2017 should submit a curriculum vitae, with publications list.
- The candidates should submit research project outline containing the research topic, its objective, theoretical explanation, method, and time frame.
- The candidates should also submit a letter of support signed by their HOD or supervisor confirming their current affiliation and research field.
