Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship for Girls 2022

Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship for Girls 2022 are offered by Lila Poonawalla Foundation for girls, for the academic year 2021-22. The Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) is a 25-year old seasoned non-profit organization working in the field of girl child education with the Mission of 'Women Empowerment through merit-cum-need based Scholarships and Skill Building'.

Eligibility for the Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship for Girls 2022 :

• This scholarship is only for Indian women/girls.
• This scholarship is only available for a few selected districts/cities, they are 
• Pune
• Amravati
• Wardha
• Hyderabad
• Bengaluru
• Only those girl's candidates who have secured admission in the 1st year of their proposed course in the academic year 2021 - 2022 only apply.
• The scholarship is for a period of three/four academic years and is subject to the candidate passing in all subjects and securing a minimum overall score of 60% marks each academic year in the same college. For each subsequent year, the candidate will have to submit the University / College mark sheet for verification before raising the claim.
• It is mandatory for candidates to come personally to the respective LPF office as mentioned below for submission of the application form.
• This scholarship is only available for limited courses. Engineering, Medicine and Sciences.

Documents required for the Merit-cum-Need Based Scholarship for Girls 2022 :

• Proof of age. (Birth Certificate/PAN card)
• Aadhar Card of the applicant.
• Leaving Certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation / Diploma. As applicable to your course )
• Academic Record / Marks Sheet - (10th, 12th, Graduation / Diploma. As applicable to your course)
• Admission Letter / Allotment Letter from College.
• Result for the Entrance exam (Government/college - if applicable )
• Gap Certificate (If there is a gap in your education)
• Income proof of all earning members in Family (Last I.T. Assessment Order, in case not an IT payer and doing the job then a salary certificate from Employer OR last three months’ salary slips. If not an IT payer and not doing the job then only Income Certificate from Zilla Parishad / Local Government Authority.)
• It is mandatory to submit a hard copy of the application form & candidates should personally come to submit it along with the required document ( 1 Original application from +1 Xerox Copy of application form)
