The University of New England is offering Max Schroder Female Indigenous Mentoring Scholarship, 2017 to support recipients of Max Schroder UNE and Ella Schroder scholarships.
Eligibility criteria:
- Scholarship is available to female candidates
- Applicants of Max Schroder Female Indigenous Mentoring Scholarship, 2017 must be Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students.
- Applicant must be enrolled their final year of an undergraduate study or enrolled in a postgraduate degree at the University of New England.
- The candidate is required to maintain regular contact with Oorala Aboriginal Centre.
- Applicant must have secured an average GPA of at least 4.0 in their previous UNE studies.
Selection criteria:
- Applicants of Max Schroder Female Indigenous Mentoring Scholarship, 2017 must maintain a good academic merit.
- Candidates must exhibit strong leadership skills, including motivational and initiative skills.
- Applicants with excellent interpersonal and communication skills are preferred.
- The previous recipients of another Max Schroder scholarship will be given preference.
