The L.M. Johnston Award for Carpentry was established in 2019 by Laura M. Johnston in honor of her father, Arnold C. Gillis, recognizing excellence in carpentry and the sharing of skills and knowledge.
Eligibility requirement for L.M. Johnston Award for Carpentry at Holland College:
- Must be entering the Carpentry program at Holland College.
- Preference given to female-identifying applicants.
- If no female-identifying applicants apply, preference is given to Prince Edward Island (PEI) students.
