Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of John Robinson Ph.D. Studentship in History, 2017 must be intending to begin their Ph.D. study in September 2017.
  • Only the candidates who register on full-time can apply for the scholarship.
  • Candidates applying for John Robinson Ph.D. Studentship in History, 2017 must be having UK, EU or overseas fee status.
  • An offer of a place to study in the Department of History must be held by the applicants.
  • The scholarship provides £17,500 per annum for a maximum of three years; it will be £4,183 for Home/EU students and international students will receive £15,570.
  • The rest of the amount will be provided as the stipend.
