The University of Waikato is offering High Achievement Scholarship for International Students, 2017 to international students enrolling in a full-time undergraduate program and studied at the University for the past 12 months. 

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must be international fee paying students.
  • Candidates applying for High Achievement Scholarship for International Students, 2017 must have enrolled in an undergraduate in the preceding 12 months.
  • During the preceding 12 months, candidates must have secured B+ grade average over their first 120 points to be eligible.
  • Students who should take up a Waikato Pathways College program before starting their undergraduate degree will be considered for the award once they complete 120 points towards UG degree at the University.
  • Applicants of High Achievement Scholarship for International Students, 2017, if selected, will be awarded 15% of tuition fees for the second year.
