Harry Oppenheimer Institute for African Studies at the University of Cape Town is offering Harry Oppenheimer Institute Scholarships, 2018 to support post-Honours students undertaking any field related to African Studies.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of  Harry Oppenheimer Institute Scholarships, 2018 should enroll and complete postgraduate studies at the University.
  • Scholarships will be granted based on the following criteria:
    • Academic merit
    • Following the principles mentioned in University’s Equal Opportunity Employment Policy
  • Black people are encouraged to apply for the scholarship.
  • Candidates applying for  Harry Oppenheimer Institute Scholarships, 2018 should submit the application form, CV and, two referee reports.
  • Scholarship can be deferred for a maximum one year.
