  • The Humboldt University of Berlin is offering postdoctoral fellowships in Protestant theology. The fellowship is connected to the Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies (BerGSAS) admissions.
  • The fellows should participate in the scholarship program “Ancient Languages and Texts”.

<p>The Berlin Graduate School of Ancient Studies (BerGSAS) is the umbrella organization for six at the Freie Universit&auml;t Berlin and the Humboldt University of Berlin is moved doctoral programs. They all consider traditional curricula, but going against the background of increasing demands on interdisciplinary research in new directions. The interdisciplinary applied doctoral programs are not like classical Research Training thematically oriented, rather core competencies and basic theoretical and methodological skills are taught. A unique feature is that all specializations can be operated in Classical Studies as well as in geographical and other science subjects.The placement of a practice-oriented approach is also an important concern for our graduate school.</p> <p>We have strong non-university partners who are directly involved with the composite of the Berlin Antique College (BAK) to the doctoral programs: the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences, the German Archaeological Institute, the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science and the Foundation of Prussian cultural Heritage. The research-based in these institutions scientists are usually connected by honorary professorships with universities. They bring their expertise and resources of the respective research institution in our doctoral programs. All doctoral programs are both at the Dahlem Research School (DRS) and at theHumboldt Graduate School (HGS) certified.</p>
