The Stanford Arts Institute is offering one-year visiting.Creative Cities Fellowship. “Creative Cities” is the interdisciplinary research theme for the Fellows to conducted research on.
Eligibility criteria:
- Students applying for Creative Cities Fellowship at the Stanford Arts Institute, 2017 are required to be in residence at Stanford during Autumn, Winter, and Spring Quarters (mid-September 2017 through mid-June 2018).
- Candidates applying should have an MFA or interdisciplinary Ph.D. in the arts.
- Other independent artists and scholars who wish to apply for Creative Cities Fellowship at the Stanford Arts Institute, 2017 must show scholarly or artistic achievements that are equivalent to a relevant terminal degree.
- Fellows are expected to contribute to University-wide working groups, seminars, and public discussions and teach one undergraduate course.
Application procedure:
- Students must submit a cover letter that describes their goals and achievements of work done to date which must be limited to three pages.
- Students applying for Creative Cities Fellowship at the Stanford Arts Institute, 2017 should submit their curriculum Vitae.
- Students are requested to send a sample of written work which must not exceed forty pages.
- A five page Fellowship Proposal that details the research that the fellow would undertake during his/her stay at Stanford which should also include a course description for an undergraduate seminar.
- Applicants must submit three confidential letters of recommendation.
