Eligibility
- The applicants of Country-related Cooperation Programme With Argentina (ALEARG) can be students, graduates, doctoral candidates, postdoctoral or teachers at universities in Argentina are eligible.
- Researchers at publicly funded institutions of Argentina can also apply.
- The maximum age limit for the applicants is 26 for students of engineering and 36 in all other cases.
- The scholarship includes funding for Undergraduates, Master's or postgraduate students, Ph.D. students and faculty.
Duration of funding
- The undergraduate engineering students receive funding for complete one-year.
- Applicants for a Master's or postgraduate course at a German university will receive up to two years.
- The Doctoral candidates at a university in Argentina can complete a doctoral stay of up to two years, or receive a short-term 2 to 6-month doctoral scholarship for Germany.
- Postdoctoral students, whose doctoral study is not older than 3 years can complete a 1 to 2-year or 2 to 6-month research visit to Germany.
