Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) is offering CIT Rísam PhD Scholarship to encourage high-end research for the generation of new knowledge or applications from existing knowledge.
Eligibility criteria:
- Candidate applying for CIT Rísam PhD Scholarship must be registered on CIT doctoral register and be enrolled as a full-time postgraduate research student.
- Applicants must not be recipients of any other sources of income/scholarships/grants over the duration of the PhD scholarship.
- Revenue Commissioner’s “Scholarship Exemption Declaration” must be completed by the students to avail exemption from tax payments on scholarship and all the terms of the tax exemption must be met by the applicants.
- The research will normally be conducted at CIT, unless in exceptional cases with prior approval, research may be conducted full or in part at an external facility.
- Only by the consent of Graduate Studies Dean, the registration can be made at a later date.
- Property or equipment purchased using the CIT Rísam PhD Scholarship will belong to CIT.
