The Charles B. Rangel International Graduate Fellowship Program, 2017 is offered by the Howard University and the U.S. State Department to prepare outstanding young people for a career in the Foreign Service.
The fellowship supports applicants' graduate study for two years, internships, professional development activities, and the Foreign Service entry.
The fellows will also participate in two internships, one in the international issues for Members of Congress in Washington, D.C., and the other in a U. S. Embassy.

Eligibility

  • The candidates applying for Charles B. Rangel International Graduate Fellowship Program, 2017 should be the US citizens,
  • The applicants should be seeking admission in a US university in 2017 for a two-year graduate program.
  • The candidates can be in the senior year of their undergraduate program or college graduates.
  • The candidates should have CGPA of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Documents required

  • The applicants for Charles B. Rangel International Graduate Fellowship Program, 2017 should submit personal details, two recommendation letters one from a faculty member, and another from an individual who can comment on the non-academic accomplishments of the applicants.
  • The candidates should submit the US citizenship proof, a copy of the U.S. passport, U.S. citizenship certificate, or birth certificate, Financial Aid Statement, and Student Aid Report (SAR).
  • The applicants should also support GMAT or GRE scores, academic transcripts, a personal statement of 600 words or less, and a statement discussing their need for financial aid in 400 words.
