- The Foundation for Australian Studies in China (FASIC) is offering BHP Billiton Australia China Scholarships, 2017 to encourage and help students and young professionals to undertake priority areas of interest in the bilateral Australia-China relationship.
- Scholarships will be given to students interested to pursue the following subjects:
- Sustainability, including climate change, carbon capture storage, low emissions technology, biodiversity, water stewardship
- Governance, including corporate and local community governance, International Regulatory Systems\Economic policy – Free Trade
- Economic policy – Free Trade
- Women in leadership
- Applicants of BHP Billiton Australia China Scholarships, 2017 must have completed or about to complete their undergraduate degree from an Australian or a Chinese university.
- They must also be planning to take up their postgraduate degree in a Chinese university not more than a calendar year from the date they completed their undergraduate degree.
- Applicants of BHP Billiton Australia China Scholarships, 2017 will be selected on the basis of the following criteria:
