Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships (AAPS) is to support the students of Pacific developing countries.

Eligibility

  • The citizens and residents of one of the participating countries of Australia Awards Pacific Scholarship.
  • The Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships (AAPS) are available to selected countries from the participating countries such as Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Fiji, Samoa and New Caledonia.
  • The applicant should not be a permanent resident of Australia or should not be married or engaged person, who holds an Australian or New Zealand citizenship.
  • The applicants should satisfy the host government's immigration requirements.
  • The candidate should not be a recipient of any other scholarship.
  • The applicants of Australia Awards Pacific Scholarships (AAPS) should not have received an Australian Government scholarship in the two years preceding the proposed time of commencement of the Australia Awards Pacific Scholarship.
  • Half of the scholarships are awarded to women and half to men as equity policy.
