Yes Magazine Reporting Fellowship

Eligibility

• Applicants who have previously worked as a reporter, have lots of video clicps and want to take their journalism further are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants who possess exceptional writing skills, clear strong voice and who like to dive into new ideas are preferred.
• He/She must have a clear expertise of progressive ideas and social justice solutions.
• Candidates coming from an underrepresented community will be given priority.
• Applicants are expected to use their experience to help achieve greater success.
• Applicants interested in research and data that reveal important stories is a plus.
• Candidates who are passionate and have a flair for journalism will be taken into consideration.
• Candidates who are a master at social media and know how to get stories is an added bonus.

Documents Required

• Applicants are required to submit three published writing clips.
• Applicants need to provide two professional references.
• Candidates must submit a copy of their resume.
• A copy of the statement of interest should be submitted.
