Eligibility

  • The World Food Programme Internship in Communications is open to candidates from all nationalities.
  • Applicants must currently be enrolled and have attended University courses in the last 12 months.
  • Applicants who have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies are eligible.
  • Applicants who have recently graduated in the last 12 months in communications are eligible to apply as well.
  • Applicants must be proficient in MS Office.
  • Applicants must be fluent in English to be considered for the WPF Internship.
  • Knowledge of social media is viewed as a plus.
  • Applicants must complete six months of their Internship.
  • Selected Interns will have the opportunity to assist in the communications evaluation by Sub-Offices.

Value

  • Selected Interns will receive a monthly stipend from WFP of US$700 per month depending on the duty station of assignment, (approximately $300 for Bogota).

Note

  • WFP will not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, travel to and from WFP internship location, necessary visas and costs related.
